These cookies are quicker to make than a trip to the store to buy a packet so curl up in front of TV with your own home made cookies.
- 150 g butter, softened
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 3/4 cup plain flour, sifted
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup white choc bits
- 1/2 cup milk choc bits
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Line two baking trays with baking paper. In a bowl place the butter, sugar and vanilla and beat until sugar is combined. Beat in the egg.
- Add the flour to the butter and sugar in two batches, stirring to combine. Fold through the choc chips. Take a tablespoon of mixture and make a ball and place it on the tray leaving some space between each cookie. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
